Chloe Empress Blue Table Lamp

The classic look of this Chloe Empress Table Lamp is provided by the head-down dragonfly border, which has been a Tiffany favorite since the turn of the last century. This particular lamp has a background of a yellowish-beige, topped with blue-green leaves, and lovely brown dragonflies with ruby eyes and lacy wings. A bright and beautiful table lamp, this one takes two 100-watt bulbs.

The bases and supports for Chloe lamps consist of resin, resin/art glass combinations, or metal/resin combinations. Different finishes complete each lamp, giving them the best combined look the artisans can produce. All of the Chloe shades are made of Tiffany art glass and built with the traditional copper foil technique. Though tapping on the glass may give a plastic-sounding noise, that is actually the protective coating required to strengthen the glass, thus providing a more durable lamp.
